With Elias in Iraq, Sara spent a lot of time at our house.  She was surprised to learn, that the old fogies could still dance!

Happy 2004!

In June 2003, just prior to Elias' deployment to Iraq, we had a good time at Fort Campbell Kentucky.

July 2003 and it rained "forever" in the Northern part of the state. The Wabash River is the main drain of Indiana and flows right by our house.  Hello! That water had to go somewhere! The river crested in Terre Haute at 25.2 feet which meant that we are living on the Donker inlet...surrounded on three sides and the water very close to the front porch. Almost too close! Yes!  we prayed...

The waters are receding now and the flood of 2003 is history. Like Blair once said : "The advantages of living on the river still outweigh the disadvantages"....
