Rogier and Ellen Donker live in a self-made home of stone and fine wood, along one of the most beautiful, peaceful stretches of the Wabash River in southwestern Indiana. Their grown son, Elias Alexander a Lieutenant in the 101st Air Born Screaming Eagles, now lives in Fort Campbell Kentucky with his beautiful wife Sara.

A quiet evening of conversation on the riverfront porch with a cup of cider might fool you into thinking life is slow here, but a walk through the garden, Ellen's jewelry studio and Rogier's pottery and cabinet shops reveals much more. These highly skilled, award winning industrious, intelligent and cheerful people are eager to share their faith, miracles, memories and reflections. If you visit, you'll come away with a full realization that your only regrets in life are things you put off and fail to do, and not the things you accomplish. The Donker's story is all about the fulfillment of dreams, and they are an inspiration to anyone who visits, and thus becomes a life-long friend." WTHI's News Anchor, George S. Eisele.

At the request and encouragement of their many "fans", Rogier compiled his life story into a book: "Of Faith, Miracles, Memories and Reflections." Written in 1995 and printed in a limited edition of 1000 copies, the book was sold out in no time and only a few copies remain in the author's possession. With the popularity of the Internet and the possibilities of Desk Top Publishing, Rogier (with some professional help!) has written and produced an updated version of the old biography and it is now available on disk for those who are interested and want to know "what makes us tick". Installed on a disk as a PDF document, the purchaser can print out the cover and the hundred plus some pages, complete with B&W as well as Color illustrations. So for those who "want to know" , fill out the form below, print it out and mail. The disk will be on it's way to you by return mail! Thanks!

A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in or the kind of car I drove...But the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.
